We are packing beautiful Washington cherries in our Smiling Buddha label. Quality has been excellent, with average firmtechs of 315 to 420, brix 18-25, and 4-6 color. Varieties include Cristalina, Coral Champagne, and Bing. We expect to get into heavy volumes of bing for the next week. Shipping by Air globally. Offering our customers export quality cherries everyday by air and ocean. The crop out look is approximately 18M cartons (20lb), and we expect demand to be strong at the beginning throughout the season.
The first variety will be Chelan, which is well known for it's sweetness and crunchy firm texture which Asians love! Followed by the Coral Champagne, a newer variety that has become very popular. Corals have more sugars, larger sizes and are firm enough to ship by ocean to Asia. We ship to China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan R.O.C., Singapore, the Middle East, Europe and Canada. We have started with Coral Champagne and Royal Hazel cherry varieties. Both varieties are showing good brix, color, firmness (crunchy), and size.

This apple season we expect volumes to increase by over 200%, as new orchards begin to produce. Exciting news for our clients, as early demand has always exceeded availability. This means we will also be able to fulfill all Chinese New Year commitments too. Yay! We are always the first Canadian exporter, to pack and ship Ambrosia apples to Asia. Our apples are Smart Fresh, Scholar to ensure better arrivals, and we store late fruit in CA (Controlled Atmosphere) facilities for latter arrivals. Shipping apples September through June. Great news, we continue to increase our cherry tonnage annually as more new B.C. orchards begin to produce. More Northern late cherry orchards to make Autumn Moon Arrivals in late September. More Southern cherry orchards, which means another large increase in ocean containers for Asia in 2020. Canadian cherries are some of the best in world!
