B.C. GROWN AMBROSIA APPLES

This apple season we expect volumes to increase by over 200%, as new orchards begin to produce. Exciting news for our clients, as early demand has always exceeded availability. This means we will also be able to fulfill all Chinese New Year commitments too. Yay!

We are always the first Canadian exporter, to pack and ship Ambrosia apples to Asia. Our apples are Smart Fresh, Scholar to ensure better arrivals, and we store late fruit in CA (Controlled Atmosphere) facilities for latter arrivals. Shipping apples September through June. Sutherland S.A. Produce, is excited to be offered USA Blueberries this season to all our Vietnam clients. We have more than 30 years blueberry experience.

Spain has received Market Access to Thailand & Vietnam this season. However, we are still in the early stages of understanding the necessary protocols. Stay tuned as we update this post further.

Ricky Chong & Mike Lloyd will be managing the Spanish export cherry programs this season. We will both be on-site daily inspecting orchards and export packing quality. Spain has some beautiful cherry varieties, high sugars, crunchy, good sizes and volumes.

Spain will begin export volumes in early May, with peak production during the month of June. A 2019 Maff Roda cherry optical line ugrade to 21-lanes, will allow us to pack significant export volumes daily. Our optical operator is from Chile, and has many years experience packing China export quality.
